Using HunchBuzz with your Intranet (MS 365, Sharepoint and other web apps)

HunchBuzz provides admins the ability to generate a widget that can be embedded into a Sharepoint web part or any other web app. This is most often an intranet where it might be useful and engaging for users to see activity within HunchBuzz from your company's default landing page.

Access the HunchBuzz widget generator at Admin->Modules->Widgets.

There are three types of information that can be displayed:

• The latest ideas and most recent comments that have been created.
• The latest votes for and against ideas.
• The HunchBuzz leaderboard.

You can also choose whether the widget uses the default HunchBuzz styling (logo and colors), your customized platform settings, or no branding at all.

Simply choose which items are to be displayed and click the Generate Token button. This will create a secure access token and HTML to embed the widget. Copy the HTML code from the text box and use this in your web app (for example, in SharePoint this would be an Embed type web part).

If a widget has been previously generated it will appear in the text box and may be copied and pasted without generating another.

Note: the widget will only display items that are visible to all members of your organization. It will not show ideas, comments or votes from sub communities or private challenges.
