There are are number of configuration settings to control the HunchBuzz experience for your users:
Voting Display Options
This allows you to control whether individual’s votes show in the activity stream. Go to Admin->Settings->Security and select from the following vote display options:
- Show all votes – all votes are displayed (positive or negative)
- Hide all votes – don’t show any voting activity
- Hide negative votes – show only that the user has voted (but not whether positive or negative)
Sometimes users might be reluctant to downvote and idea if they will be identified as having done so. This setting allows some granularity in the level of anonymity of the voting process.
Default Home Page
You can choose to send users to the default home page or directly to the Challenge page at Admin->Settings->Community settings.
Images help illustrate ideas and create a more visually rich community but you can choose whether images are required for an idea at Admin->Settings->Community settings.
If disabled the the profile picture of the idea creator will be displayed instead.
Throughout the application you can customize the text that is displayed on many pages (Home page, Challenge, Blog, Praise etc.).
Show/Hide admins in leaderboard
By definition admins spend a lot of time on the platform and will often appear near the top of the leaderboard for activity. You may want to highlight regular user's interactions instead so we provide a setting at Admin->Settings-Points Settings that shows or hides admins on the leaderboard.
If Administrators are not shown on the leaderboard they will also not be assigned a ranking or points score on their profile page.
