Mapping AD Groups

ADFS

HunchBuzz can automatically map user groups from your ADFS groups. If you configure the setting below user groups will be passed through and mapped to any existing groups in HunchBuzz.

For example, if you have an AD group called “Domain\Exec team” - and in HunchBuzz you create an ‘Exec team’ group (without the domain name at the start) - when a user who belongs to that AD group signs in to HunchBuzz they will be automatically assigned to the HunchBuzz group of the same name.

NOTE: The HunchBuzz group name needs to match the ADFS group name exactly.

To enable group mapping add a new rule to your Relying Party Trust to pass the groups through - ‘Token-Groups - Unqualified Names’ -> ‘Role’

Azure AD

In Azure AD the groups are mapped automatically.
